Attilio Perona is an Italian citizen born in 1981 based in Thailand.
He started skiing in Italy at the age of four and he grew up as an alpine ski racer in the Italian environment. At the age of 17 he was enlisted in Regional Selection (FISI AOC, western Alpls), and at the age of 18 he became Junior World Champion at the “Criterium Mondial” FIS-CIT in Alpine Combined in Megeve (FRA). After this accomplishment he was enlisted into the professional ski team of the Italian Army (C.S.ESERCITO).
He is a Certified Italian Ski Instructor (Collegio Nazionale Maestri di Sci, COLNAZ), and also a Certified Ski Coach Level I,II,III from FISI-STF (Italian National Ski Federation). He’s also exper in Racing Ski Tuning and Physical Preparation.
His skiing experience extends nearly 40 years, and his racing/coaching experience up to 20.
He’s coaching the National Alpine Ski Team of Thailand since 2019, qualifying the team and participating in :
YOG (Youth Olympic Games, Lausanne 2020 – SUI)
JWC (Junior World Championship, Narvik 2020 – NOR)
OG (Olympic Games, Beijing 2022 – CHI)
JWC (Junior World Championship, Panorama 2022 – CAN)
In Thailand is co-owner and project manager at ”Sudsakorn Muay Thai Gym & Football Stadium”.
